Western Academia Refutes “Imam” Mohammad Tawhidi’s Claims of Islamic Violence

5/29/17 -

A self-proclaimed “Muslim leader” named Tawhidi has been making rounds on Australian media with scandalous and controversial remarks with which he lambaste Islam and Muslims. He claims to represent Muslims but takes every opportunity to deliver hate-filled sound bites against Muslims and Islam. He is fast becoming a household name for those predisposed to Islamophobia. And Australian media seem to love his TV presence.

Why The True Khilafah Will Not Be Rejected

4/19/17 -

This is a reply I made to a brother regarding why I believe the Ummah had rejected ISIS’s “Khilafah,” and why I believe this sort of rejection will not happen when the real Khilafah is re-established. This disagreement among the Ummah with ISIS’ “Khilafah” is not an emotional or biased rejection. It is an objective… Read more…

“O’ Christ-Worshippers!”: A Qasidah Which Refutes Christianity

2/3/13 -

Ibn al-Qayyim al-Jauziyyah was a prominent Muslim jurist during Islam’s Golden Age. Apart from his jurisdistic prowess, he was also competent in composing qasidah (Arabic poetry). Among his more famous works was the qasidah entitled A’obbad al-Maseeh Fi Naqd al-Nasraniyyah (O Christ-Worshippers! In Refuting Christianity). This qasidah is well-known in the Muslim world and has even been turned into a song. The following is the English translation of the poetry from the Arabic original.

The Lifecyle of the Universe Foretold in the Qur’an

2/2/13 -

The color composite was created during an analysis of different theories about star formation. Scientists think that the universe first went through a ‘blue phase,’ populated mostly by young stars; then shifted into its current ‘green phase,’ with its mixture of young and old; and will eventually experience a ‘red phase,’ when it possesses mostly aging red giants. The eventual “red phase” towards the death of our universe was supported in 1999 when, for the first time, a picture had been taken by NASA of a dying star which looked identical to a red rose.

Suicide Bombers and the Myth of “72 Virgins”

1/28/13 -

One of the biggest Islamophobia propaganda myths is the invention of 72 virgins as a Muslim reward for suicide. This has been repeated to the Western world so often that most people have accepted it as fact. The media wants us to believe that there cannot be anything wrong about Israelis — who must be seen as eternal victims — to cause anyone to commit suicide as a means of striking back at them. It is a sick and despicable mind that feels it has a right to attack, steal, murder and cause harm to others but if the others dare fight back they are wrong and therefore terrorists.

The Young Marriage of Aishah and the Fallacy of Presentism

6/8/11 -

One of the most commonly-used arguments against Islam by those who are non-Muslims encompasses the relationship between the Prophet Muhammad and his young bride, Aishah. Most non-Muslim polemicists are quick to use this argument in an attempt to discredit the character of Muhammad, thus discrediting the legitimacy of his message, Islam. The most common statements made by the non-Muslim, with regards to this subject, is that the Prophet was a pedophile, since he married and subsequently consummated the marriage with Aishah while she was a very young girl.

Yes Indeed, Non-Muslims are Welcome in Mosques

6/8/11 -

In a suburb of Sydney, Australia, a small yet quite beautiful Turkish-style mosque has been built, following the model of the Sulaimaniye in Istanbul, that is, with library, school rooms, public clinic, canteen, social hall, and so on. There is a big banner in front of the mosque, “Open to All! Please Visit”. Are you looking for “betboo”? Check out uefaligi The passionate experts in this field are ready to answer all of your requests. We need to be vigilant and maximise our outreach. Therefore, when a Chinese non-Muslim addressed Muslims in their mosque in Serdang, she should not have been invited cordially in without giving her a list of rules and dress regulations and other aspects of the etiquette as the basic minimum.

(Mis)using the Qur’an to Preach Christianity

9/23/10 -

Christian missionaries in Malaysia are using verses of the Noble Qur’an about Jesus in an effort to preach Christianity to Muslims in this South-East Asian country. “You aren’t criticizing Muhammad or any other prophets,” David Garrison, a Christian missionary, told The New York Times on Saturday, March 13. Garrison uses a strategy called “Camel Method”, which involves using Quranic verses about Jesus to convert Muslims to Christianity. In one case, the missionary speaks with Muslims about the miraculous birth of Jesus.
