What makes you believe that the USA of today really represents Christianity as much as terrorist really represent the Muslim faith generally? Ok..fair claim and pardon me for jumping to conclusions…
But let me just recap here and correct me if I’m wrong…
1)According to you..the act of the terrorist are actually what that is not condone by Islam in itself(unislamic warfares)..?If yes..my hats off to you..some just won’t admit that.
2)The Muslim nations especially in Arab are actually not rich at all?Why do you actually think so?
3)I’m not sure about the Catholics as I’m not one but according to you ….is the churches of middle ages compared to ones now practices the same policy i.e actions?
4)You’re right it is different these days as churches don’t hold much grounds in power when it come to nations that adopt extreme liberalism.This I must agree.But you must agree in the middle ages although power was in the churches hands but the whole agenda was never the idea of spreading the religion doctrines itself(infact I don’t believe they have any solid grounds in teachings in the first place).Its about power and greed…that’s about it.Just like the war in Iraq and Afghanistan..it’s all about the money.I have to be honest though I know about the Inquisitions and what happened from whatever that I read without the details,it isn’t consistent to the teachings of Jesus himself.

You are trying to conclude that Islam was spread through terrorism and hatred. While in Islam there is a lot of example that Islam was spread through love and affections:
1) A Jew who was throwing the prophets with rubbish every morning was sick one day. At that moment Rasulullah had asked his companion, why that jew didnt throw that rubbish on that morning?
The companions told the prophet that the Jew had fallen ill. Rasulullah visited the Jew and even assisted him to eat. finally, the Jew had reverted to Islam and confessed that Muhammad is the messenger of God.
2) When Rasulullah was migrating to Medina, he was chased by Saraqah.
Rasulullah fell and Saraqah had aimed his sword to rasulullah, Saraqah said to prophet Muhammad, “Who can save you?”
The prophet answered” Allah!”
Then, the sword fell and Rasulullah took the sword aim at Saraqah and asked the same question to Saraqah, and Saraqah said, “Only you can save me”.
Rasulullah had let him go. And later, he also reverted to Islam.
There are many instances, Islam is spread through love and affections. The chrsitians only know, Love your neighbour, but do have you ever heard of the prophet saying that:
” One would not enter the paradise if he left his neighbour in hunger!”
And Rasulullah had stated that every neighbour has their rights on other neighbour, when they have weddings, birth, sickness and death.
Islam had clearly define the definition of love and what should you do to show your affection.

the problem is that many people in the West associate Islam and terrorism.
9/11 made them angry and they viewed Islam with an incorrect bias. Images from the middle east and places like Pakistan have also been less than favorable. So it is essential for Muslims to show that Islam IS about peace.
